HOW MANY GUESTS CAN DIVANYX EVENT CENTER ACCOMMODATE? 

There is a 199-person maximum capacity inside of the barn. For larger weddings you can rent a tent.

Can a wedding party get ready at Divanyx Event Center?

CAN A WEDDING PARTY GET READY AT DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

Yes, there are two climate-controlled wedding party preparation lounges, and one has a private bathroom.

IS THERE A DANCE FLOOR?

To allow each wedding party the greatest flexibility there is no dedicated dance floor. Dances can take place in several spaces, including the loft, outside under the lights, or inside on the main barn floor.

CAN I RENT A TENT?

Yes, tents are allowed in prearranged areas.  Divanyx Event Center requires the use of a licensed and professional vendor to set up and take down the commercial tent.

Are there separate areas for the ceremony and reception?

ARE THERE SEPARATE AREAS FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

Yes, there are areas for both reception and ceremony, as well as flexibility in the event of rain. There are many options to suit the specific style of any given wedding party and Divanyx Event Center staff work to ensure venue spaces function in the best fashion for each unique event.

Does Divanyx Event Center provide tables and chairs?

DOES DIVANYX EVENT CENTER PROVIDE TABLES AND CHAIRS?

There are tables and chairs available on site. Ceremony and dining seating is composed entirely of white deluxe folding chairs. Table options include banquet tables in both six and eight-foot lengths, as well as round tables.

DOES DIVANYX EVENT CENTER PROVIDE LINENS?

Linens, as well as several other decorative items, can be rented from Divanyx Event Center to be used for onsite events.

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVENT SETUP?

Divanyx Event Center staff will help with event set up and with the knowledge that each event party has differing preferences for setting up responsibility, staff are flexible in how much assistance they provide. The staff of Divanyx Event Center provides set up consultation and assistance based on the needs of the event.

WHAT BACKDROPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR WEDDING PORTRAITS?

Divanyx Event Center features many spaces perfect for beautiful portraits. The venue itself has many picturesque scenes that will provide a gorgeous backdrop to any event photo. In addition, the natural landscape surrounding the venue allows for greater diversity in photo backdrops. Finally, Divanyx Event Center staff are always working to enhance the grounds and buildings to optimize photo opportunities.

WHAT IS YOUR SEASON OF OPERATION?

Divanyx Event Center begins operation each year in mid-April and concludes its event season in mid-November.

Do you have an on-site catering service?

DO YOU HAVE AN ON-SITE CATERING SERVICE?

Divanyx Event Center does not have on-site catering and encourages event parties to choose their own licensed caterer. Divanyx Event Center has worked with a wide variety of caterers and can likely provide recommendations based on the needs of the event.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed at an event at Divanyx Event Center?

ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT AN EVENT AT DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

Yes, however, clients must adhere to the Minnesota state laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcohol. Divanyx Event Center staff can provide more information regarding this policy and a list of vendors.

WHAT EVENTS CAN DIVANYX EVENT CENTER HOST?

Divanyx provides an excellent space for all types of gatherings. Although space is often used for weddings, it has also been the gathering space for several work events, birthday parties, quinceañeras, and reunions. Please contact Divanyx Event Center for a tour and consultation for your special gathering.

Can we have our rehearsal dinner at Divanyx Event Center?

CAN WE HAVE OUR REHEARSAL DINNER AT DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

Divanyx Event Center does offer a full weekend (Friday through Sunday) rental package that allows you time for setup of decorations, rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner. Same alcohol policies apply for your rehearsal dinner as on the day of the main event.

DOES DIVANYX EVENT CENTER HAVE PERMANENT RESTROOMS?

Yes, there are restrooms, and they are wheelchair accessible.

Are Divanyx Event Center facilities climate controlled?

ARE DIVANYX EVENT CENTER FACILITIES CLIMATE CONTROLLED?

The lounge and the refinished granary, perfect spaces for the wedding party to prepare, both have heat and air conditioning. The indoor photography studio that also has the photo booth is both heated and air conditioned. The barn can also be heated on chilly days. Fans, open windows, and doors help cool the barn on warm days.

Does Divanyx Event Center allow RVs and camping?

DOES DIVANYX EVENT CENTER ALLOW RVS AND CAMPING?

Divanyx Event Center is not permitted to have guests camp on site. Guests wishing to bring RVs can request more information in advance for advice on some parking solutions.

Do I have to use Divanyx for photography?

DO I HAVE TO USE DIVANYX FOR PHOTOGRAPHY?

No, you do not have to hire Divanyx for your photography needs/wishes. Divanyx has been providing photography for the area since 2011 and we do offer a 20% discount to anyone renting Divanyx Event Center.

Is the photo booth included with the rental of Divanyx Event Center?

IS THE PHOTO BOOTH INCLUDED WITH THE RENTAL OF DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

Yes, the photo booth along with the greenscreen, iPad Kiosk, and slideshow addons are all included with your event rental (over a 1000-dollar value). The photo booth will automatically print two hard copy prints of each session for your guests and all your guest sessions will be uploaded to our website for free download and sharing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Most customers pay with a check, but we also accept cash, Venmo and payment through PayPal. If using PayPal or a credit card there is a 3.5% fee added to the price.

Do you allow dogs at Divanyx Event Center?

DO YOU ALLOW DOGS AT DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

We only allow dogs/pets with prior approval from Divanyx Event Center staff, so please ask if you are wishing to bring a dog or other pet. Service and companion animals are allowed. If approval is given by Divanyx Event Center staff, pet owners must cleanup after their pets while on the premises.

When is payment due when renting Divanyx Event Center?

WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE WHEN RENTING DIVANYX EVENT CENTER?

We understand every couple and situation is different and  we have got you covered with our flexible payment options. Our default contract requires a 50% down payment due at the signing of the contract and the remaining balance is due 6 months prior to the event date, but we will work with each couple on an individual event basis.
