The late-May air in Minnesota brings the perfect warmth for a celebration, and on May 23rd, 2026, Divanyx Event Center and Photography had the absolute pleasure of hosting and capturing Suzanne and Garth’s unforgettable wedding day.

As a premier wedding venue near Rochester, MN, Minneapolis, and Mankato, our goal is always to provide a stunning backdrop where couples can bring their distinct visions to life. With 110 of their closest friends and family in attendance, Suzanne and Garth designed a day that perfectly balanced rustic elegance with deeply personal, heartwarming details.

A Magical Ceremony Under Twinkle Lights

At 5:00 PM, guests gathered on the second floor of our historic barn for the ceremony. The space looked absolutely breathtaking. Suzanne and Garth embraced the natural, rustic charm of the timber framing, elevating it with glowing twinkle lights hung gracefully alongside our signature sparkling chandeliers. As they exchanged their vows, the warm, ambient light created an incredibly intimate and romantic atmosphere that set the tone for the rest of the night.

Elegant Navy Tones, Greenery, and a Special Cause

Following the ceremony, the second floor transitioned into a gorgeous reception space. The couple opted for a classic layout using round tables, which they adorned in rich navy tones and lush greenery elements. To ensure a smooth transition from social hour to dinner, a beautifully organized seating chart welcomed guests to their tables.

One of the most touching highlights of their reception was a dedicated tribute table. Suzanne and Garth set up a beautiful display featuring pictures of their past and present pets to honor them. In lieu of traditional favors, they used this space to accept donations of pet food and toys from their guests to share with local animal shelters. It was a beautiful reflection of their kind hearts and a detail their guests truly loved.

Excellent Local Catering & Smooth Bar Service

For their wedding meal and dessert, the couple turned to Hy-Vee (Crossroads location in Rochester, MN). The team delivered a delicious dinner buffet and a beautiful selection of baked goods that kept everyone energized for the night ahead.

The bar service was flawlessly handled by Hayfield Spare Time Lanes. Their professional bartenders kept the signature drinks flowing and ensured the guest experience was top-tier from the first toast to the final call.

A High-Energy Dance Floor

When it was time to get the party started, Instant Request DJ Theo Galetka took the reins. Known for keeping the energy high, DJ Theo did not disappoint. The dance floor, located right on the rustic second floor of the barn, was packed all night long with guests dancing under the mix of chandeliers and string lights.
